This table is the summary of the power of self-contained generator used underthe commonly used voltage in the world.
1. ThreePhase Generator:Description of Power
Continuous Power S1/40℃—— Definition of IEC34-1
Continuous operation with load under insulation class: overload for 1 hourevery 12 hours is allowable.
40℃ SparePower
Yearly maximum 500 hours operation with continuous load but not overload andtemperature rise over H class isallowable.
27℃ Spare Power
Power rises with the increased temperature under the same load as the oneregarding 40℃ spare power and in the environment of temperature less than 27℃ is allowable.
For example: S1/40=100KW spare/40=105KW spare/27=110KW

4. ThreePhase Generator:Winding
We strongly recommend you choose different winding structure and pitchaccording to the actual requirement. Concentric and lap winding and 2/3 pitch.
5.Three PhaseGenerator: Performance
5.1 Conform to International Accreditation and Standard
Generator used for 4-pole follows IEC34-1/34-2/34-5.
5.2 Electrical Performance
Excitation system/short-circuit capability:
Self-excitation system without short-circuit capability;
Excitation system of permanent magnet (PMG) with the capability to maintain 3times of short-circuited rated current for 10 seconds.
Voltage Regulator:
Generator used for 4-pole creates suitable AVR for its excitation system andreceives respect with its reliability and stability.
Different model of generator has different excitation system, which is listedon the Power Table.
Frequency:
Generator used for 4-pole can provide frequency of 50Hz and 60Hz (so do allgenerators of our company).
Power Factor:
Generator used for 4-pole is designed for power factor of 0.8 and 1. For thepower factor lower than 0.8, contact us for more.
Waveform:
With the zero load or rated linear load and balance load, distortion factor ofline vs. line waveform (THC or THD) is less than 4%.
Telephone harmonic factor TFH is less than 2% (according to IEC).
Telephone interference factor (TIF) is less than 50 according to NEMArequirement.
Transient Performance:
Transient voltage falling is less than 20% with rated load and 0.8 powerfactor.
Recovery time of 20% voltage falling is less than 1.0 second.
Parallel Use:
After equipped with suitable module, all generators used for 4-pole can be usedconnectedly.
Overload Capability:
Generator used for 4-pole is required of overload capability according to NEMAstandard.
Single-phase Operation:
5.3 Mechanical Performance
Mode:
Generators used for 4-pole, single and double bearing(s) are available. Providechangeover connectors and driving disc used for main generator.
Protection:
Standard protection class is IP22. If user has special requirement, otherprotection class such as IP23, IP44 and IP55 also can be provided.
Bearing:
All series of generators of our company uses permanent sealed bearing.Lubrication allowable bearing can also be used, if required by user.
Balance:
Check all rotors for balance according to ISO940 and NFC51-11 standards.Perform balance check on double
bearing rotor with a half-key.
Rotating Direction:
All generators used for 4-pole can operate in two directions (Conversedirection operation results in reduce of power)
Over speed:
Maximum over speed reaches 2250 rpm (1.25 times of 60Hz rated speed )
Insulation and Protection:
Generator used for 4-pole is of Class H insulation. Protection for standardwinding can bear 95.7% relative humidity and be used in doors.
For the special environment or especially harsh environment, special devices orsurface covering technical is required (Consult our company for details).
Connection Box and Connector:
Big connection box of generator used for 4-pole makes easy and safe AVRinstallation and wire connection. Current transformer and other optionalmodules can also be installed in this box.
Mechanical Structure:
With finite element analysis and calculation, mechanical performance of partsis optimized. Bed plate is made of armor plate and front and rear end cover ismade of cast iron.
Aluminum alloy, cast iron, steel bed plate and flange are available accordingto the different customers’ requirements.
