F-ENGINEB2101 series E1-Ethernet protocol converter fulfills the switchover between10/100BASE Ethernet interface and G703/E1 interface. It is available in severaltypes, including

B2101-E1TX: 1*Ethernet RJ45 port over unframed/framed 1*E1 port
B2101-E1FX: 1* Ethernet Optical port over unframed/framed 1*E1 port

Module type protocol converter (inserted in B2112 rack)
LC-B2112-2E1TX: B2112 series module card, 2*Ethernet RJ45 ports overunframed 2* E1 ports separately

1. The Ethernet protocol converter complies with IEEE802.3-1998 standard.
2. It is also compliant with G.703 standard.
3. The protocol converter adopts integrated circuit and software which is basedon independent intellectual property right.
4. Low transmission delay.
5. E1 interface supportsboth 120Ω/balance and 75Ω/non-balance impedance.
6. Ethernet electrical interface supports 10/100BASE-TX full duplex mode.
7. The converter offers two types of clock mode: internal clock and line clock.
8. E1 framed or unframed mode is optional.
9. The protocol converter provides triple-end loopback functions that includelocal end loopback, to remote-end loopback and command opposite-end loopback.
10. The operating mode of equipment is configurable via switch (framing ornon-framing mode, the effective time-slot selection in framing mode, clockmode).
11. Pseudo random code testing function which greatly facilitates equipmentinstallation and commissioning.
12. Standalone type protocol converter supports remote configuration andmanagement via B2112 rack-mounting type equipment located in central office.
