Applications
Raymond mill has found a variety of grinding applications in the fieldsof mining, chemical, construction, and more. It is suitable for grindingmaterials with Mohs hardness below Grade 9.3 and water content less than 6%, such as barite, calcite,potash feldspar, steatite, marble, limestone, dolomite, active carbon, cement, phosphorus ore, glass, heat preservation material, and so on. The size ofthe finished product can be adjusted between 80-325 meshes.

Components
Raymond mill is mainly composed of main unit,blower, powder classifier, cyclone collector, and windpipe. The main unit iscomposed of frame, grinding roller, grinding ring, shovel,shell, etc.

OperatingPrinciple
The crushed materials enterthe grinding chamber through the feed hopper. The grinding roller rotates aroundthe central axis and also performs autorotation, generating a large centrifugalforce. The centrifugal force causes grinding rollers to oscillate outward topress the grinding ring. The shovel scoops upthe materials and sends them to the gap between the roller and ring forgrinding.
The ground powder is carried by the air from the blower into the classifier forclassifying. The fine powder which meets the required size standard will beblown into the cyclone collector and discharged, while the rough material leftover will be delivered back into the grinding chamber for regrinding.
