Application
PVC cable 11KV can beused in power networks, and is suitable for underground and outdoorapplications.

Standards
The power cable is manufactured in line with BS6622 standard.

Conductor
Class 2 stranded plain copper conductor to BS EN 60228: 2005 (previouslyBS6360)

Conductor screen
The conductor screen of the PVC cable is made using semi-conductingmaterial.

Insulation
XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) Type GP8 conforming to BS7655

Metallic Screen
Individual and overall copper tape screen conforming toBS6622

Filler
PETP (Polyethylene Terephthalate) fibers

Separator
Binding tape

Bedding
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Type TM1 to BS7655

Armoring
Single Core cable is Aluminium Wire Armoured (AWA), and the MultiCore cableis Steel Wire Armoured (SWA).
