Description

Orient reflectiveglass is a reflective, solar control glass that has been carefully designed tomeet the twin requirements of architects - the functional and the aesthetic.

Reflective glass ismanufactured by a process known as “on-line Pyrolytic coating” wherein siliconbased coating is applied to the glass surface by means of pyrolysis. Also knownas hard coating, the process fuses precious metal oxides on the surface of thefloat glass at a high temperature while the glass is in formation.

The coating impartsa “mirror-like” façade to reflectasol, giving it visual appeal while providingfunctional benefits like solar control and glare reduction.

1. Reflective glassoffers solar comfort by reflecting a large proportion of thesolar radiation, thereby restricting the heat gain inside a building.

2. It offers superior visualcomfort by reflecting away the right quantum of daylight to limitglare, while allowing the adequate amount of natural light.

3. Reflective glass hassuperior durability. It offers high wear and superior scratchresistance as it is 'hard coated'.

4. It offers easein processing because it can be processed like a normal float glass.

Application
