The making process of the tube ice
1. Tube ice made by the tube ice making machine is formed in a verticalshell and tube vessel withwater passing down inside the tubes which are cooled by the circulation ofrefrigerant on the outer surface.
2. As the ice falls downfrom the tubes, it is cut by the rotating ice cutter to desiredsize. The tube ice is about 50mm in length and 35mm in external diameter.
3. When the ice reaches the desired thickness, thewater stops flowing automatically, Refrigerantis removed to a surge drum and heat iscirculated around the tubes, causing theice tubes to melt and slide down.
