Properties
HEDP is an organic phosphonic acid type anti-scale corrosion inhibitor. It can chelatewith metal ions such as Fe, Cu and Zn to form a stable chelating complex, andthus can dissolve oxide on metal surfaces. Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid ischemically stable and hard to be hydrolyzed or decomposed, which functions welleven under 250 ℃or high PH conditions. Compared with other organic phosphonic acids, HEDPA offers better resistance to acid,alkali and chlorine oxidation. As HEDP can form six-membered ring chelating complexwith metal ions in water, especially calcium ions, it has good scale inhibition andobvious threshold effects. When used together with other water treatment chemicals, it showsgreat synergistic effect.

User Guide
1. When HEDP is used in anti-scale applications, the recommendeddosage is 1-10mg/L.
2. When HEDPA is used as a corrosion inhibitor, the dosageof 10-50mg/L is preferred.
3. When it is used as a cleaning agent, the recommended dosage is 1000-2000mg/L.
4. In other areas, the product dosage should be based on experimental results.

Packing
HEDP liquid: plastic drum, 30kg or 250kg per drum
HEDP solid: plastic woven bag lined with PE film, 25kg per bag or upon customer’s request.

Storage
HEDPA should be stored in a cool, dry space. The storage period is 12 months.

Safety Protection
Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Incase of contact with skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water.
