Instructions for Use
1. Place the knife sharpener on a stablesurface.
2. Depending on how blunt the blade is, completeone or both of the following steps:
Step 1: Coarsesharpening
It is used to repair a seriously damaged knife and is also suitable for a bluntknife. Placethe knife on the sharpening slot and, using a slight downward pressure, run the blade from its heel to its pointthrough theslot. Repeat this procedure three to five times. Sharpen the tools once every six months or as required.
Step 2: Fine honing
This step is necessary to eliminate the burrs on the knife and then polish it. Refer to Step 1 regarding the use method. It is recommended to do this approximatelyonce a week to keep your blade sharp at all times.
3. Clean the knife with water or wiper and then dry it after use. Clean the knife sharpener with a non-abrasivebrush.

Caution
1. Do not use the knifesharpener to sharpen serrated blades or scissors.
2. To avoid damaging theknife, sharpen the knife slightly.
3. Do not put the sharpener in the dishwasher or submerge it in water.
4. Put the knife sharpener and knife beyond the reach of children to avoid any accidents.
