Types
1. According to the insulation material, heating wires can be divided into silicone rubber heating wire, PS resistant heating wire, PVC heating wire, and more.
Silicone rubber heating wire is known for superior heat resistance. Detailedspecifications include: operating temperature: -60℃~155℃, average power density＜40W/m(50W/m is available in low temperature environment).
PS resistant heating wire is innocuous, so it can come into direct contactwith the food. However, it is only used in low power applications(≤8W/m) for its low heat resistant ability. Its operating temperature range isfrom -25℃ to 60℃.
PVC heating wire is a commonly used heating wire, which is widelyapplied to freezer and air conditioner. Its average power density is no more than 12W/m, and operating temperature is -25℃~70℃.
2. Depending on the power range, heating wires can be classified into singlepower type and multi-power type.
