Pillow Tank (Transformer Oil Tank)

Pillow tank is widely applied to oil change, oil filtration and oil topping up. It is also an ideal alternative to traditional large steel oil tanks for transformer emergency repair. Especially, large transformer, breaker and switch need oil topping up and filtration during overhauling and emergency repair. The steel oil tank has heavy weight. A 10-20 m3 steel oil tank may be 1-2 ton, so it needs to be moved by crane. In addition, necessary regular cleaning requires greater labor intensity. However, the pillow tank for transformer oil has advantages like light weight, small volume, easy laying and removal, no contamination to oil, free of maintenance, and all these decrease labor intensity and save working time greatly.

Mobility

It does not need special maintenance, and is resistant to oil，hydrolyzing，aging and ultraviolet rays.

Regular cleaning and embalmment are needed.

Influence on oil products

The fluid level is always contacted with the tank wall，and no oil-gas remains on the top. The material of the tank body does not affect the oil quality, and the surface resistivity is in line with the safety requirements.

Oil-gas vestigital remains on the top of the fluid level in the tank under unfully-filled condition，which extends the oil filtering time.

This kind of pillow tank is used for various industrial grease like lubrication oil, lubricant additive, transformer oil, vash oil, tung oil, glycerin, coconut oil, hydraulic oil, industrial gear oil, castor oil, high oil fatty acid, and so on.
