Weed Control Mulching Plastic Film

Linear low-density polyethylene is the raw material used in the weed control film, with different herbicides added based on different crop requirements.

Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) has an excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking, as well as features an outstanding electrical insulation, heat resistance, impact resistance and puncture resistance. Because of that, our weed control plastic films are also non-toxic, harmless, healthy and environmentally friendly.

The vegetation in the two figures shown above were planted on the same day. The first picture shows the vegetation growth using the weeding film, and the second picture shows vegetation growth without the use of the weed prevention film.

The weeding film is offered in a standard light yellow color, though we also offer the film in black and blue. Depending on the crop requirements, different weed killers that do not harm the crops are added to the master batch.

Most agricultural films do not contain an herbicide, and black protective weeding mulches available on the market today often do not contain herbicides either, with a weeding principle simply being that the black inhibits light filtration to inhibit the growth of weeds. However, that also inhibits crop growth. With our films available in light yellow and blue, and infused with a weed killer, the inhibition of crop growth due to lack of light is effectively avoided.
