Polybutylene pipes, also known as PB pipes, polybutene-1 pipes or PB-1 pipes, offer a number of unique benefits for your plumbing and piping systems.

Polybutylene pipes are lightweight, weighing only 1/5 that of galvanized steel pipes. They are also flexible and strong with a density near 0.930 g/ml³ PB pipes are non-toxic, tasteless and corrosion-free, making them safe for drinking water piping systems. Thanks to their flexibility, PB pipes are resistant to freezing temperatures. Low thermal conductivity properties ensure the PB pipe is safer than metal pipes when used in hot water applications, with a maximum operating temperature of 110℃.
