Granite Surface Plate and Plate Stand

The flat granite surface plate is a precision measuring tool made of natural stone material. It is mainly used to inspect the instrument, precision tool, mechanical parts. Its raw material is got from the qualified lithosphere, which has gone through the natural aging for eons of time. That means our product has dimensional stability. Our granite measuring products will not deform because of the conventional temperature difference. If necessary, our granite surface plate can be processed with T-shaped grooves, treaded holes, etc.

Precision Requirement

The flatness tolerance is compliance with the GB4987-85 standard:
000 Grade: 1×(1 d/1000)um;
00 Grade: 2×(1 d/1000)um;
0 Grade: 4×(1 d/1000)um;
1 Grade: 8×(1 d/1000)um

Remark:

"d" refers to the diagonal line, and its unit is "mm". Generally, the measuring temperature is within 20±2℃.

Features
Due to the long-term natural aging, the granite surface inspection plate has the features such as uniform structure, zero internal stress, and low coefficient of linear expansion. It is hard to deform, so it is high in precision.
It comes with good rigidity, high hardness, and superior abrasive resistance. In addition, it is resistant to dust, rust, acid and base. No oil coating is required. Our product is easy in maintenance, long in service life.
This granite flat plate has no scratches even after having been used for a long time. Being not limited to the constant temperature, it can also maintain the measuring precision under the condition of normal temperature.
Our granite measuring plate will not be magnetized. When used for measuring, it moves smoothly. This product will not be affected by moist.
