Our wire EDM machine is a CNC machine. Material is removed from the work piece by using rapidly recurring current discharges or sparks between electrodes and thin, single strand metal wires (usually brass). Within this machine, a thin, single strand metal wire (usually brass) is fed through the workpiece, then submerged in a tank of dielectric fluid.
