Linear actuators for solar systems
The U4 model DC linear actuator is specially designed for solar tracking systems. In order to make it applicable to severe environments, the shell is made of an aluminum alloy, and the interior is made of stainless steel, thus ensuring the linear actuator features an excellent corrosion resistance. To ensure the waterproof performance, a sealing ring is used in motor installation, especially around the bolts. Due to a heavy load capacity, the helical gear is manufactured using a powder metallurgy process. The dynamic load reaches up to 8000N, and the maximum static load reaches up to 20000N, allowing it to hold more than 25 solar panels and racking systems. Signal feedback is most often achieved using a reed sensor in the U4 model linear actuator.
① Load VS Curent; ② Current (A); ③ Load (N); ④ Load VS Speed; ⑤ Speed (mm/s)
code | Rated laod (NM) | Rated current(A) | Rated speed (mm/s)
Push | Pull | No-load(24VDC) | Full-load(24VDC)
A | 6000 | 6000 | 2.2 | 2.7 | 1.5 |
B | 8000 | 8000 | 3.2 | 2.7 | 1 |
Comment: when the voltage changes from 24V to 12V, the current will be doubled.
