Compressed air drying activated alumina is white spherical with many capillary channels. With high activity on surface of these capillary channels, our product can express instinct of selective water adsorption from gas, steam and liquid, which provides extremely good effect of fluorine ion removal from water.

Under certain conditions, dry depth of compressed air drying activated alumina can reach dew point temperature of below -70℃, and its saturation can revive between 175℃ to 400℃ by heating and water removing several times. Also, it can adsorb lubricating oil and other oil steam from polluted oxygen, hydrogen and sulfur dioxide, as well as be used as catalyst or carrier.

Our compressed air drying activated alumina is widely applied to drying machine for petrifaction, oil refining, electronics, ethylene, propylene, air and so on. Besides, it has achieved excellent effect used in quite a lot of hydrogen peroxide plants, fertilizer plants, oxygen plants, and petrochemical refining units across the country. Also, activated alumina is influenced by the polarity degree of adsorbed material. With strong affinity to water, oxide, acetic acid and alkali, it is micro water depth of desiccant and adsorbent for polar molecules.

Used as a desiccant, compressed air drying activated alumina works by a process called adsorption. The water in the air actually sticks to the alumina itself in between the tiny passages, as the air passes through them. The water molecules become trapped so that the air is dried out as it passes through the filter. This process is reversible, and if the alumina desiccant is heated to about 200°C, it will release all of the water stored in it. This process is called regenerating the desiccant. Air always has some water in it, and one way to measure the amount of water in the air is the air dew point.
