Tundish Car of Continuous Casting System

Tundish car is used to transport the tundish and it adopts semi-suspension design, mounted on the main operating platform. Twin-strand and above continuous casting equipment is equipped with 2 tundish cars to be convenient and fast for the exchange of tundish. This shortens the tundish replacement time, thus achieving the purpose of continuous casting. Tundish car is driven by hydraulic pressure, applicable to supporting and conveying the tundish for casting or heating. Besides, it has function of weight monitoring, capable of constantly monitoring the weight of the liquid steel. In addition, New Anjie produced tundish car is installed with an overflow tank on its bottom to discharge the rejected liquid steel into the slag pan. Thus the steel billet quality is not influenced.
