Escalator Shutter

Commercial buildings often have fire protection requirements for escalator shutters. However, because escalator shutters are operated in a horizontal manner, common vertical or lateral roller shutter doors are not applicable. To solve that problem, Pangu developed horizontal roller shutter doors that are applicable not only for lighting wells, but also stairs, conveyor belts and other areas.

The curtain is made of stainless steel or galvanized steel, with a refractory period of 3 hours.

Structure The curtain is generally operated in a horizontal manner, and can also run at an arc of no more than 90° at the turn. The top box is placed horizontally on the door hole side (on one side or on both sides). Parameters Maximum length of the hole: 15m Maximum width of the hole: 10m Shutter closing time: within 2 mins Refractory time: 3 hours Surface temperature characteristics of door curtain: Single point maximum temperature does not exceed 140 ℃, and the average temperature does not exceed 70℃.
