Machine brief description:

This machine is designed to produce 2 layer polyethylene air bubble film (sheet), (also known as bubble wrap), which is widely used for household wares packing, mail packaging, bike packaging, furniture packaging, and other applications where protection for fragile materials is needed.

The bubble wrap film extrusion machine is comprised of 6 parts: main extruder, filter, T-die, air bubble film forming roller, traction and winding component

Service life: the service life of the entire machine is 2 to 3 times longer than other similar equipment available on the market. Double bubble roll: the inner layer passes the cooling water, and the outer hollow part produces bubbles under negative pressure. The rollers are produced autonomously by Jianda and their service life is up to 7 years. The screw die: The screw die is made using A1.2133 German die steel, which is also independently produced by Jianda. Gear box: the hard gear box is Guomao or Kaibo brand, and is of a high quality. It requires no frequent replacements or complete overhauls, thus reducing maintenance costs. Screw: Zhoushan brand screws feature a better plasticizing, and a better adaptability to formulas and recycled material.

Applicable raw material

Main raw material: low density polyethylene (LDPE) with melt index MI=2~7;
LLDPE with melt index MI=1.0~1.5 in proper proportion;
Regenerated LDPE with melt index MI=2~4 can be used partly or wholly to make a certain width bubble film.

Product development

HDPE can be mixed with LDPE to produce the same bubble film thickness, but with a better hardness. However, this formula requires extremely high requirements for the die head, screw, and bubble roll. Once we tested this specific formula, we then released it to our clients, and as a result, sales for our bubble film machine reached the highest value in our company’s history.
