A scaffold putlog clamp is used in conjunction with a steel tube in order to quickly and flexibly assemble a scaffolding system. It creates a 90 degree right angle between the clamp and the tube. Compared to a double coupler, a putlog clamp (single clamp) is much less expensive. These clamps have been electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance.
