The rolling process in which the hot steel plate is rolled thinner by rollers is a typical process in metallurgy. This process is also quite influential to the quality of the final steel product. Four-row tapered roller bearings are used at the two ends of the main rollers of the rolling mills. The four-row tapered roller bearings used in the rollers of rolling mills not only need to support heavy load but also need to accommodate severe working conditions with erosions caused by cooling water and impurities (iron dust).
