The GT-C13B series abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine, also called Nu-Martindale abrasion and pilling tester, is used to evaluate the resistance of textiles to abrasion and pilling, and its sample holders can be removed without lifting the top motion plate, thus greatly facilitating operation.
This abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine is available with 4, 6, 8 or 9 stations, while an enhancement kit is offered so as to convert a 6 position abrasion tester into an 8 or 9 position type, or to convert a 8 position tester into a 9 position type. In addition, standard sample holders, 9kPa weight and 12kPa weight are also supplied.
Working Principles of the Abrasion and Pilling Resistance Testing Machine
When this abrasion tester works, samples are rubbed against known abradants at low pressures and in continuously changing directions, and the amount of abrasion or pilling is compared against standard parameters.
Feature
1. Equipped with a PLC controller and a touch screen, the abrasion and pilling resistance testing machine is precisely controlled, and it is exceptionally easy to use.
2. The abrading tables are manufactured from stainless steel to provide an artistic look with excellent durability, and a preset stop switch is employed to ensure safe working.
