Features and Applications
The 12-24kV circuit breaker truck is mainly used for mounting components such as circuit breakers, transformers, etc by withdrawable switchgears. It allows the components to run in and run out, facilitating their connection with the busbar. Our circuit breaker truck is interchangeable with ABB-VD4, Schneider-EV12S, HVX and Tellhow-TZN etc.

Note:Circuit breaker truck has five Locking Plates for selection, the standard Locking Plates is 8XS.141.012.2 that match with ABB-VD4, Schneider-EV12S, HVX, Tellhow-TZN etc.

Special Circuit Breaker Trucks: Electric Circuit Breaker Truck

Introduction:
By increasing electrical operating functions and control modules, the circuit breaker truck enables the medium voltage switchgear to be intelligent,programmable, and remote controllable. The electrical mechanism of this circuit breaker truck can be mounted horizontally and directly on the original withdrawable circuit breaker truck without changing dimensions and interlock functions of the manual chassis. It is easy to switch between manual and electrical operation.

Advantages:
There are multiple control modules available for selection to meet different customer needs.
Manual and electrical operations can be easily and automatically switched between each other by remote control.
Preventive voice reminding function: to prevent misuse in test and operation.
Micro switches are available for testing and working positions.

Supporting Control Module
The electric circuit breaker truck provides a driving solution, but to control and protect the electric circuit breaker truck is only possible with appropriate control device. To meet customers’ requirements, we developed four control modules with different functions.

1.1 The control module has the following features:
a. adapt to basic control over the run-in and run-out of circuit breaker truck, as well as interlock with circuit breaker and earthing switch.
b. with motor over-current protection, and the over current can be adjusted.
c. overcurrent return function:in the case of overcurrent, the motor can return to the test position, or return by half circle.
d. overtime protection: if no truck-in-place signal is detected by the control module within the set time, the running will automatically stop.
e. the control module is installed in the low voltage control room of the medium voltage switchgear.

2.1 Overview
DD-3 series electric circuit breaker trucks control module can achieve the control and protection of the chassis, with local and remote two modes of operation. In the case that the drive motor of the electric circuit breaker truck is blocked and protection is needed (such as the installation is not in place or mechanism gets stuck), the control module will immediately brake the motor and reverse it to relieve the seized state.

2.3 Advantages (compared with DD-2B type):
a. with removable terminals for easy installation and maintenance.
b. combined use of panel buttons enables emergency braking function to avoid accidents in a timely manner.
c. remote / local operation of the internal latch simplifies the external circuit design and assembly.
d. dimension shrinks; cabinet and panel mounting are both available.
e. with run-in and run-out reset buttons for easy commissioning operations.
f. overcurrent adjustment is taken place by the segmented current settings, which brings more effective protection.
g. public terminal is used and the number of external terminals are reduced from 22 to 18 to facilitate wiring.
h. emergency stop function is added: press the run-in and run-out buttons at the same time can achieve urgent braking.
