Thrust ball bearings are comprised of three parts: the housing washer, the shaft washer, and the steel ball retainer. They are capable of supporting axial loads, but not a radial load. This makes thrust ball bearings ideal for use in low speed equipment that can only bear a single axial load, such as crane hooks, low speed reducers, vertical pumps, and jacks. In addition, they feature a low noise, low temperature, and low fabrication, even in high speed working conditions, making them suitable for harsh environments.
