Polyimide Film

Polyimide film is the best electrical insulating filmy product in the world. This polymer material is produced through polycondensation of PMDA (pyromellitic dianhydride) and DDE (dichlorodiphenyldichloroethylene) in the strong-polar solvents, as well as curtain coating and imidization.

This high performance engineering plastic combines superior electrical, physical and mechanical properties at temperatures as low as -269°C and as high as 280°C. Our product is even able to handle 400°C condition in short-term manner. Furthermore, our polyimide film has UL94 V0 flammability and consists of no halogen. The contents of heavy metal and other limited organic substances are highly in tune with Chinese environment protection standard.

In addition, we utilize unique coarsening technology to process the single surface. As a result, its bonding capacity and attachment force to other bonding technologies are drastically boosted.

Technological requirements
1. The surface of polyimide film is supposed to be smooth and leveling, allowing for no corrugation, tear, bubble, pinhole and exogenous impurity.

2. This product appears in rolls. The width ranges from 10 to 700mm, and the minimal length for each roll is 60m. When the plastic material is applied to composite and lapped insulation products, each segment is no less than 30m. If it is used for other electrical materials, then each roll should consist of at least 5 segments, wherein each segment is at least 3m.

3. We also supply polyimide film in ribbons. Specific width and length can be determined by negotiation.
