Properties
Dihydro-Oxa-Phosphaphenantrene-Oxide, abbreviated as DOPO, is white crystals or powder. It is easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, and more. DOPO can dissolve in benzene, but it is insoluble in water and hexane.
Applications and Characteristics
1. Dihydro-Oxa-Phosphaphenantrene-Oxide is mostly applied in high-end epoxy resins for producing circuit boards and more.
2. This product can substitute for brominated flame retardants such as TBBPA. It can be used in the printed circuit boards, LED light bulbs, and the encapsulation of semiconductor materials, among others.
3. DOPO is a reactive and additive flame retardant, which is characterized by high thermal stability, strong oxidation resistance, and great water resistance.
4. Our product is often used in thermosetting resins and adhesives. Its flame-retardant performance is better than that of the general phosphate esters.
