CAS No.: 1071-93-8
Features
1. Adipic Acid Dihydrazide, also called ADH, can create a very fast reaction with ketone group. For instance, it can easily react with the ketone group of diacetone acrylamide or the aldehyde group of formaldehyde.
2. Additionally, ADH can also react with the epoxy group of amides.
Applications
1. Adipic Acid Dihydrazide can be cross-linked with water-borne coatings at room temperature. The acrylate emulsion consists of acrylic monomers. Diacetone acrylamide can be cross-linked with the amino group of ADH rapidly to produce water-soluble coatings with high performance.
2. As a formaldehyde scavenger, ADH can prevent formaldehyde from escaping to the air.
3. As an epoxy curing agent, ADH can create a fast reaction with epoxy resins at high temperature. Also, it is applicable to powder coatings.
4. Modification of plastics
5. Fiber processing
Packing
Each fiber drum or carton can hold ADH with its net weight of 20kg.
