Uses
1. Hydrobromic acid is also known ashydrogen bromide. It is mainly used for producing a variety of inorganic bromides and some alkyl bromides including sodium bromide, potassium bromide, lithium bromide, calcium bromide, methyl bromide, ethyl bromide, and other basic materials.
2. This product is an ideal solvent for some metallic minerals. It can also act as a separating agent for alkoxy and phenoxy compounds. As a catalyst, it allows alicyclic hydrocarbons and chain hydrocarbons to be oxidized to ketones, acids, or peroxides.
3. In pharmaceutical industry, hydrobromic acid is desirable for synthesizing sedatives, anesthetics, and other medical supplies.
4. In petroleum industry, it can function as an alkylation catalyst.
5. As an analytical reagent, our product is used to detect sulfur, selenium, arsenic, zinc, and iron. It can also separate tin from arsenic and antimony.
6. This product is also utilized to synthesize dyes or spices.
