The horizontal U trough mixer is made from high grade stainless steel. It is widely used to mix powdery or pasty materials in drug manufacturing, chemical, and food industries.

Interrupted spiral blades are utilized to provide aggressive mixing actions that transfer mechanical energy to the material being mixed. As different materials roll back and forth inside the trough, a high homogeneity of the mix can be achieved. The mixer is electrically controlled. Simply set a mixing time, and let machine do the rest. When time is up, the mixer stops and the mixed product is discharged automatically via an electrical control system. This process enables high mixing uniformity per batch.
