In 2006, Haier was the solewinner of the tender to supply blood bank refrigerators for the "TheUrgency Relief Goods Program to Aid the Indian Ocean Tsunami Disaster".

In 2008, Haier was the solewinner in the tender for the "Project for Supply of Blood Bank Equipmentto Cuba,First Round ".

In 2009, Haier was the solewinner in the tender for the "Project for Supply of Blood Bank Equipmentto Cuba,Second Round".

Special Features

1.       TemperatureControl

1)       Forced-aircooling, balanced by electrical warming and a microprocessor control system,ensures the temperature remains at a constant 4℃±1℃.

2)       The blood bankrefrigerator has a digital display showing average, upper and lower temperaturelimits with a resolution of 0.1℃for observation and monitoring.

3)       Adjustabletemperature limits within a 2~8℃range at increments of 0.1℃.

4)       Five digital integratedsensors are used to display and control temperatures. The first sensor displaysthe temperature in the upper blood chamber. The second sensor displays thetemperature of the lower blood chamber. The third sensor is for compressormanagement. The fourth sensor is for defrosting control and the fifth sensor isconnected to the alarm system to detect malfunctions.

5)       Seven dayTemperature recorder with  -30℃ to 40℃ range for constantmonitoring of the safety system.

6)       The blood bank refrigerator HXC-608 has a cooldown time of no more than 13 hrs for a full load of blood packs at 25℃ (±1℃) to reach below 6℃.

7)       Holdover time of approximately 1 hour and 30 min forthe temperature of a full load of blood packs at 4℃ (±1℃) to rise to above  6℃.

8)       The blood bank refrigerator is built with 80mm of polyurethane insulation in the boxwalls and 100mm in thedoor which has thermal glass.
