Structure Sstainless steel tube Aluminum tube
Aluminum clad steel wire
Aluminum wire
Description of central aluminum tube overhead optical ground wire OPGW fiber integrates ground electrode and photo-communication functions all in cable one unit. This product is mainly applied to 35kV, 110kV, 220kV, 500kV, 750kV telecommunication lines of high voltage transmission systems built on stilts. OPGW fiber is also suitable for replacing old ground wires of high voltage transmission system built on stilts to add to existing optical communication lines, conduct short circuit current and protect the system from lightning strikes.
SPFO will carefully design the structure of the optical cable according to the specific service environment (like distance between towers, requirement of sag, ice load, wind load, allowed tensile force at the suspension point, message capacity, short circuit current and so on). Users can specify the structure as well.

Features The optical unit of this product is protected by its aluminum tube, so the anticorrosion performance of optical fiber is good. The current will minimally affect the optical fiber in the case of a short circuit. This optical fiber has the characteristics of vibration fatigue. The aluminum tube will protect the stainless steel tube from generating stress at the stainless steel welded joints. Compared with ordinary stainless steel tube, the optical fiber extra length of this product is relatively easy to control.
