Cold Rolled 316L Stainless Steel Coil

DescriptionWith the addition of elements such as Mo, 316L stainless steel becomes extremely resistant to pitting corrosion, temperature extremes, and erosion, suitable for use under harsh conditions. It is strong, tough, and malleable, able to be machined and worked into various shapes at low temperatures.

316L stainless steel is nonmagnetic in the state of a solid solution, but it also looks appealing. Typical uses are in the construction of towers, vessels, pipelines, bolts, nuts, rigging and troughs. The high molybdenum content makes 316L stainless steel extremely strong and more able to resist deformation than 0Cr18Ni9 steel and 00Cr18Ni10 steel. 316L stainless steel can be cold rolled, cold drawn, deep drawn, bent, flanged, and folded.
