Fatty Acid Methyl Ester Production Equipment

The fatty acid methyl ester production equipment combines interesterification with esterification. It has the following features besides of cost saving:

1. Most waste animal and vegetable oil has high acid value while the acid value of biodiesel is quite low. In order to reduce the acid value, we adopt synchronous esterification of the gas phase and liquid phase of methanol, thus saving reaction time. The production of biodiesel needs continuous stirring, so we introduced gas methanol with certain temperature in order to precisely control the reaction temperature of methanol. Meanwhile, the amount of electrical energy consumed during the stirring can be reduced, thus realizing production with minimum cost.

2. We have our own crude glycerin recovery device. The crude glycerin has certain market value according to the market quotation. By using this recovery device, the resources waste can be reduced while the production efficiency can be increased.

3. We can realize further conversion of methyl ester after the separation of glycerin through two step method, thus improving conversion ratio and index of biodiesel. This is the advantage that the other production technique does not have.

4. There will be generation of by-product biological asphalt during the decolorization of biodiesel. The biological asphalt has wide applications such as rubber chemicals and burning oil as a kind of chemical material.
