Raymond mill, also called Rpendulum grinder, is used to grind non-inflammable and non-explosive materialssuch as barite, calcite, potash feldspar, talcum, marble, limestone and ceramicin industries like mining, building material, chemical and metallurgy, etc.Hardness of final product is below 7 Mohsand the moisture is less than 6%. Fineness size is adjusted within the range of100-600 mesh. Of course, this machine is able to produce 50-80 mesh powder byinstalling special device.

Working Principle

Brief operation process ofRaymond mill is discussed asfollows. Material is added into the cavity from the hopper of the side of themachine when the machine starts to work. This step is relied on the grindingroller hanging over the quincunx stand of the main machine. Actually, grindingroller rotates around not only the vertical axis, but also itself. So rotation roller swings outward when grindingroller rotates due to centrifugal force pressed onthe grinding ring closely.After that, shovel blade scoops up and sends material to the space betweengrinding roller and grinding ring for further processing.

The production system has solid structure, small coverage area and strong setto complete the process from material to finished product. With reliabletransmission device such as enclosed gear boxes and pulleys, Raymond mill has smooth transmission,reliable operation. Important parts are made of high quality steel and high-performancewear-resistant materials are main stuff for wear-resistant parts. Passing sieverate is 99% so fineness of the finished powder is uniform which is hardlyavailable in other grinding equipment.
