Steviol glycoside 90% is extractedfrom dried stevia leavescontaining three varying percentages of rebaudioside-A,namely 40%, 50%, and 60%. Due to higher levelsof Reb-A in these stevia products, there is a betteraftertaste, but still not quite like sugar cane. The glycoside is commonly prepared for pharmaceutical industries, but is also seen in chocolates, chewing gum, carbonateddrinks, pickled products, etc.
