CG610LAMPS Quadripolymer CementFluid Loss Additive
The CG610L AMPS quadripolymer cement fluid loss additive appears inthe form of colorless or faint yellow liquid. It is composed of 25% AMPScopolymer with the CAS number of 40623-75-4, 10% glycol with the CAS number of107-21-1 and 65% water with the CAS number of 7732-18-5. Among these ingredients, theglycol has acute toxicity and its oral median lethal dosage (LD50) is 3460mg/kg in rats.
With a density of 1.15 ± 0.05g/cm3 and a pH value of 5.0±1.0, the cement fluid loss additive made of AMPS quadripolymer is completelysoluble in water. This viscous liquid coming in the viscosity between 1800 mPa·s and 2000 mPa·s is slightly pungent and featuresa freezing point of -10℃or lower. When the bottom hole circulating temperature is controlled within acertain range, the generally adopted dosage of this AMPS quadripolymer cement fluid loss additive is 3.0-8.0%by weigh of cement (BWOC), and the recommended amount is 4.0% by weigh ofcement (BWOC).
