The most popular format forelectric towel rails is the one filled with thermal transfer fluid which isheated by an electric immersion heater located at the bottom of the towelwarmers and radiators. (Dry lined electric towel rails) Many of the towelwarmers can also be supplied for only electric operation, employing a siliconcored resistance wire which is threaded through the inside of the tubing duringmanufacture.
