Tinted Glass

AEON tinted float glass is produced by the float process with theaddition of small quantities of metal oxides to color the normal clear glassmix. This coloration is achieved through adding metal oxides at the smeltingstage. Addition of color does not affect the basic properties of the tinted glass, even though visible light reflectance will be slightly higher than clearglass. The color density increases with thickness, whereas the visibletransmittance decreases correspondingly as thickness increases.

AEON tinted glass reduces solar transmittance by absorbing alarge proportion of the solar energy the majority of which is through controland energy reduction.
