Acetic Silicone Sealant

The acetic silicone sealant is a one-component sealant cured at room temperature, and it is designed to bond and seal glass with most construction materials.

Feature
1. Our acetoxy silicone sealant offers excellent adhesion with fast curing rate, and it fits for both interior and exterior uses.
2. Once fully cured, our acetic cure silicone sealant forms an elastomer (i.e. silicone rubber) which possesses excellent resistance to water, weathering, ozone, UV light, high temperature and low temperature, and this elastomer could maintain its property for a long time within the temperature range of -50°C~ 100°C.

Application
The acetic silicone sealant is applicable for many materials, such as glass, ceramic, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, varnished wood and so on. So it is often used to assemble doors, windows, water taps, small-sized aquariums, etc.

Direction for Use
1. Before use, make sure that joint faces are clean, dry and free of contaminants.
2. Cut the can’s nozzle at a proper angle, put sealant into a gun, and then press it out at 45 degrees to the surface to be bonded.
3. For our acetic silicone sealant, its skinning time is usually less than 15 minutes, and remember to leave it alone for an hour. Then, it will be fully cured within one week.
