SBS Contact Adhesive

The SBS contact adhesive is a rubber-based multipurpose adhesive made from imported styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) via special technology, and it conforms to Chinese National Standard: Limit on Harmful Substance in Adhesive for Indoor Decoration Material.

Feature
This all purpose contact adhesive is characterized by easy use, low odor, fast setting, high bonding strength and long lasting performance, and it won’t do harm to people if correctly used.

Application
Our contact cement is commonly used to deal with home decoration, automotive interior and advertisement. For example, it can stick veneers to aluminum composite panel, fire resistant board (with anti-reflective coating) and wooden objects, and it also works well for steel, rubber, plastic, leather and woven cloth.

However, the SBS contact adhesive is not suitable for organic silicon, iron, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as well as plastic, rubber, leather that contain a large amount of plasticizer.

Direction for Use
1. Before using SBS contact adhesive, make sure that the working place is well ventilated, the surfaces to be glued are clean, dry and free of contaminants, and the evenness of substrates (wall, ceiling or floor screed) is within 5mm/2m.
2. During work, coat a thin layer of adhesive homogeneously on both surfaces to be glued by a spreader. Then, wait for 10-20 minutes to let solvents evaporate. Remember, the higher the relative humidity is or the lower the ambient temperature is, the longer the waiting time will be.
3. Press two surfaces firmly for a few seconds, and it is highly recommended to apply a big and uniform force to get higher bonding strength.

Caution
1. The container for SBS contact adhesive shall be closed tightly after use.
2. For use under 15°C, please ask technicians for professional advice.
3. To remove excessive adhesive, please use a woolen rag soaked in benzine.
4. Store the container in a cool and dry place, and smoking is strictly prohibited because our product is highly flammable.
5. Avoid skin contact and eye contact. Once fails, flush with water and consult doctors immediately.
6. Keep out of reach of children.
