Servo Motor & Servo Drive

A servo motor works on the same fundamental operating principle as ordinary motors do. The only difference is that the servo motor uses servomechanism to achieve closed loop control, which is contrary to an ordinary open-loop motor. Simply put, a servo motor is just a regular motor with a sensor, or a motor shaft encoder, installed. It is commonly used to measure angular position during motor operation, delivering the angular precision and accurate speed needed to get the job done. Typical applications for our servo system are in factory automation, CNC machining, and robotics, among other uses.
