SEVENSTARS has various kinds of advanced inspection equipment, such as the 300kV power frequency withstand voltage test equipment, 1500kV AC lightning impulse and steep wave test equipment, DC voltage and partial discharge test equipment, computer controlled tension tester, and the facilities for ageing, rain, salt and fog resistance tests. In the following, we’d like to give detailed introduction about two major test devices for our range of cable connectors, composite insulators, and other electrical power system components.

300kV Power Frequency Withstand Voltage Test Equipment
This equipment is situated at our high-voltage laboratory. We invest more than 2 million RMB for laboratory construction, and there are only two such laboratories in Fujian Province. Such laboratories are extremely rare in China.

This device is mainly used for testing voltage withstand strength of insulating products. The test can be called as dielectric strength test in line with its function. The working principle is that an insulator is used under voltage higher than rated voltage for certain time, and the insulating property of this insulator can be judged by observing whether there is leak current produced. It has good insulating property if less leak current is produced.

1500kV AC Lightning Impulse and Steep Wave Test Equipment
This test equipment certified by national authorities is rated as one of the most advanced test equipment with excellent technical performance in this industry. It is applied to test surge voltage, chopped wave, voltage wave and insulating property of power equipment.

Basically, this device comes with easy operation, high safety, excellent synchronous property, reliable operation and high precision. It has been used to test transformers, cable accessories, insulators, bushings and other products manufactured by us.
