1. Establishment and Start-up Phase (1998 - 2000)
Yantai Xinke Steel Structure Co., Ltd., was formally founded in February 13, 1998. At that time, the workshop is approximately 150㎡ or so, and the production equipment includes 1 planer, 1 miller, 2 sets of punching machines, and 3 sets of old lathes. We only employed no more than 10 workers.

Through over one year's effort of our technical team led by General manager Zhang Junqiang, the successful trial run of Xinke first welding machine named GZY-AC-I-1200 Piezoresistive grating welding machine was carried out in June, 1999.

The Earlier Factory from 1998 to 2000

As the development and successful application of the first welding machine and other machines, Xinke launched a new product--steel mesh gratings into the market.

Xinke in 1999 got the first supply contract, and provided a large amount of steel handrails to a plastic factory. At the beginning of 2000, we supplied steel structures to a beer factory. Relying on high quality product and hard working, our company successfully finished the installation of the roof platform. In the same year, we undertook a large-scale steel structure construction for the Yingezhuang Gold Project. This cooperation allowed our company to win a high reputation.

In February, 2000, We relocated our company, and the factory coverage is expanded to 3000㎡. We had dozens of employees.

2. Phase of Technology Innovation and Brand-making (2000 - the first half year of 2004)

During this period, our company had obtained many achievements no matter in equipment research, technology innovation, or in the market exploitation. Xinke steel gratings had been exported to America, Australia, the Middle East, and other places.

Our company internal structure was improved as well. The subsidiaries including Yantai Xinke Steel Grating Co., Ltd., Yantai Metal Materials Co., Ltd., and Yantai CNC machinery co., Ltd., were incepted thus to form the one-stop production system composed of equipment research, raw materials processing, and product design.

The first set of GZY-DC-I-1200 welding machine made in October, 2002, was delivered to Shanghai Dahe Steel Grating Co., Ltd.

In March, 2003, our company was entitled High-tech Enterprise. Then in April, the program of Piezoresistive grating welding machine was honored as one the items of National Torch Plan.

GZY-DC-II-1500 Piezoresistive grating welding machine which was firstly designed in June, 2003, was successfully delivered to Anhui Tianchang Feilong Brand Steel Grid Co., Ltd. The innovation of Piezoresistive grating welding machines filled the domestic vacancy. We obtained several patents and many honors for the product design.

In 2003, we designed the observatory for the

We relocated our company once again in June, 2004, with the aim to improve the overall working environment. At that time, our had more than 100 staff, and the production base spanned 6000㎡.

3. Phase of High-speed Development (2004 to present)

Yantai Xinke Steel Structure Co., Ltd. was incepted in May, 28, 2005. The subsidiaries are Yantai Xinke Steel Grating Co., Ltd., Yantai Port Steel Structure Co., Ltd., Yantai CNC machinery co., Ltd., Yantai Xunli Metal Materials Co., Ltd., Beijing Shanbo New Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Nanhai Luxin Steel Grating Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Shanfeng Steel Grating Co., Ltd.

In 2005, we were mainly engaged in the market expansion in South China. We successfully provided steel structures to various national large-scale projects, for instance, CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited, Shenzhen Cigarette Factory, Beijing SOHO Project, CHINALCO HENAN ALUMINUM INDUSTRY CO., LTD., etc.

In 2006, we supplied the ceiling projects for Hunan Lingling Cigarette Factory, Inner Mongolia Cigarette Factory, Qingdao Beer, National Grand Theatre, and other national key projects.

Our export volume of grating panels reached 2,810,000 US dollars. We joined the construction of Chinese Stadium "Bird's Nest", Swimming Center "Water Cube", other national key projects.

We had made a dramatic progress in equipment research. The self-development slitting machine was put into use in 2006. It was dedicated for the cold rolling gear machine which was used for processing tooth shape flat steel.

In 2007, we got a license for the hoisting equipment's production, installation and improvement, as well as maintenance. The new generation press welder for 1.25 meters wide steel grating was identified by the provincial experts. Its performance reached the international advanced level.

Xinke reached a sales agreement with a client from the South Korea. It was the first time that Xinke grating welding machine was exported to foreign courtiers. Later, Circular sawing machine and circular saw sharpening machine were separately sold to Singapore and Malaysia

Xinke technology improvement has won the national policy support. a. In 2004, our steel grating was listed as "National Key New Products" by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, State General Administration of the People's Republic of China for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine, the fourth ministries of SEPA; b. In July of 2005 and September of 2007, Xinke company was entitled National High-tech Enterprise. c. Our company won SME Technology Innovation Fund in February, 2006. d. Xinke Brand was honored as one of the Famous Trademarks of Shandong Province.

A factory with the coverage of 18000㎡ was put into use in April, 2007. In February, 2008, we moved to a new office building which occupies 6000㎡.

Currently, Yantai Xinke comes with the total production base occupation of 20000㎡, office area of 6000㎡. It employs approximately 300 staff. Apart from 7 wholly-owned subsidiaries, we also have 2 joint-stock subsidiaries. Our product items consist of steel gratings, steel structure, steel grating production line, hoisting equipment, energy-saving equipment, among others. Those products have been widely applied in the sectors, e.g. electricity industry, chemicals industry, oil industry, tobacco factories, buildings, municipal engineering, machinery manufacturing, etc.

Through ten years' effort, Xinke has become a well-known steel grating manufacturer in China.
