Structure of Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives
Our medium voltage variable frequency drive is composed of a bypass cabinet, phase-shifting transformer cabinet, power cabinet, and control cabinet from left to right.
Bypass Cabinet
Used for the passing in and out of high-voltage cables as well as for the installation of high-voltage switchgear.
This cabinet is an optional accessory for our VFD. It is provided with the bypass switch which enables the motor to run at the original power frequency when the VFD malfunctions and stops running.
Transformer Cabinet
Used to install phase-shifting transformer.
The phase-shifting transformer is a dry-type transformer with the insulation grade of H. It is equipped with temperature display and overheating protection devices. It can restrict the grid-side voltage and current harmonics within the GB range.
Power Cabinet
Used for mounting the power units.
The power units are all composed of high-quality imported components. All power units are installed by using slide, making replacement fast and convenient.
Control Cabinet
Used for the installation of low-voltage control devices.
The control cabinet for our variable speed drive is mainly made up of the controller, PLC, UPS, alarm, OC24V power supply, power control switch, terminal blocks, touch screen, and operating buttons.
Adopting fiber-optic communication technology, our medium voltage variable frequency drive has strong resistance to electromagnetic interference. The transformer, control cabinet, and all power units are all provided with temperature control protection devices, and they are almost maintenance-free.
