Features and Applications
1. The FR-245 refers to tris(tribromophenyl) cyanurate, which is an anti-migration additive flame retardant with both bromine and nitrogen content. Due to the existence of a synergistic effect of bromine and nitrogen, it can offer the function of smoke suppression while delivering high flame retardant efficiency.
2. This brominated flame retardant prominently features great thermal stability, low dosage, the low impact on the properties of base material, as well as great resistance to both ageing and light, among others.
3. Without any free bromine, the tris(tribromophenyl) triazine is an environment friendly chemical flame retardant. It complies with RoSH environmental regulations. Moreover, this product shows extremely good flowability, strong fire resistance, as well as high impact.
4. The tris(tribromophenyl) cyanurate has overcome the shortcomings of such plastics additives as deca-BDE, DBDPE, TBBPA, and some others when in use. It is a perfect replacement of decabromodiphenyl ether which is abbreviated as deca-BDE.
5. The unique combination of aromatic bromine and cyanurate allows 2,4,6-Tris (2,4,6-Tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-Triazine to be widely applied in a variety of engineering plastics, such as PET/PBT, ABS, HIPS, PC, and PC/ABS, among others.
