The taper thread coupler can be used to connect HRB335 or HRB400 rebars with the diameter of 16-40 mm. It is available in three types, standard type, left handed and right handed type, and reducing type.
Taper Threaded Splicing
Tapered threads are cut on the ends of the steel bars to be connected. Then, the two steel bars with threaded ends are connected with the taper thread coupler under regulated torque. This kind of mechanical splice meets the requirements of Chinese standard JGJ107-96 and JGJ109-96. The mechanical property of the splice reaches Grade A.
