Product Introduction
Feature and Application

The JKX type intelligent integrated low voltage filter capacitor bank is designed for the occasion where there are some harmonics in the electric network and ordinary power capacitors are unable to work normally. Its main features are as follows.

The JKX type intelligent integrated low voltage filter capacitor bank is mainly used in the system where harmonic current is less than 40% (such as inverters, etc.). It can not only compensate reactive power and improve power factor but also eliminate the damage caused by high harmonics and improve power quality.


Main Functions
1. Filtering Function

By forming a low-impedance path, our capacitor bank can effectively suppress high harmonics and surge. It can absorb and discharge the high harmonics to protect circuit and capacitor from overloading and prevent capacitor over-heating, insulation medium aging, seal-healing performance degrading, and service life shortening.


2. Switching without Surge
Cooperating with the dedicated capacitor switching switch, our product produces no switching surge.


3. Respective Compensation
The capacitor of each phase can be switched independently. This can improve compensation accuracy and balance the reactive power as much as possible.


4. Measurement
This intelligent low voltage filter capacitor bank can measure voltage, current, reactive power, power factor, as well as CT phase and transformation ratio. The three-phase current and inner temperature of each capacitor can also be measured.


5. Protection
Protection against circuit over-current, capacitor over-voltage, under-voltage, over-temperature, phase failure, and three-phase unbalance.
When the temperature of the capacitor exceeds 65℃, the whole capacitor will exit running, so as to extend service life and ensure system safety.


6. Signaling
Including capacitor switching status, over/under compensation status, over/under voltage status, protection operation type, and self-diagnosed fault type.


7. Communication
The capacitor bank communicates with the controller via the RS-485 port. This facilitates uploading lots of sampling data and exchanging information with outer monitoring and control device.


8. Connection
Our product can conduct wired network communication and wireless network communication.


9. Intelligent Network Control
The capacitor bank can automatically detect and track the change of reactive power in the system. It is switched according to this change. Capacitors with the same capacity will be switched in turn. The ones with different capacity will be switched according to proper choice.
The earliest switched-on capacitor will be switched off and the earliest switched-off capacitor will be switched on. The capacitor with the lowest temperature will be switched on in prior and the one with the highest temperature will be switched off in prior. If the working status is constant, the capacitors will be switched in cycle every 15 minutes, so as to prevent any capacitor from running for a long time.

10. Fault Self-Diagnosis
The intelligent control unit can diagnose various running parameters. Once a fault is detected, the whole device will response and quit running rapidly.
