Intelligent Capacitor Bank

JK series intelligent capacitor bank is the newest low voltage reactive power compensating device developed on the basis of the overall development of the intelligent appliances. This product has passed the test of National Power Industry Reactive Power Compensating Device Test and Inspection Center. It is used to save energy, reduce line loss, and improve power factor and electric quality for 0.4KV power grid.


Our product consists of intelligent control unit, zero cross switching circuit, line protection unit, and low voltage power capacitor. It is constructed as upper and downside split modules. The upper part is composed of the intelligent monitor and control unit, switch, protection unit, and other units. The downside part includes two pieces (Delta connection) or one piece (Star connection) of low voltage power capacitors.


The device is divided into two kinds according to the compensating modes, simultaneous mode and respective mode. A single device can be put into service, or multiple pieces form a compensating system. Decentralized or centralized onsite compensation function can be realized easily. Additionally, our product can meet the requirement of mixed compensation for three-phase unbalanced load.


Our intelligent capacitor bank has adopted zero cross switching, monitoring, networking communication, automatic control, and other advanced technologies. Compared with the traditional reactive power compensating devices, our product is has smaller size, higher efficiency, higher reliability, lower power loss, easier maintenance, longer life, and low cost, which can better meet the reactive power compensation requirement of modern intelligent power network.


In addition, our intelligent capacitor bank can also be adopted by different switchgear manufacturers as a supporting device for the switchgear they produce.
