General Description
The RPCF3 series automatic three phase reactive power compensation controller has all the advantages of RPCF series. Meanwhile, it samples the voltage signal and current signal from three phases respectively. This avoids the phenomenon that the reactive power meter rotates quickly or inversely even if the power factor has been compensated fully in the three phase unbalanced system.
Function Features of RPCF3 Reactive Power Compensation Controller
1. Calculating the reactive power on the basis of the sum of 3 phase fundamental wave reactive power can avoid switching shock of any forms and can accurately display the power factor of the system with harmonic wave.
2. High measurement accuracy, wide display scope
3. Display general power factor and fundamental wave PF in real time
4. Real-time display of 3 phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, and apparent power respectively
5. A total of 12 kinds of coding output modes for choice
6. A maximum of 6 compensation schemes for users to choose (distribute the circuit number of simultaneous compensation and respective compensation)
7. Up to 16 outputs
8. User-friendly interface, convenient operation
9. Various control parameters can be adjusted digitally, which is convenient.
10. Two working modes: automatic operation and manual operation
11. Protection against overvoltage and undervoltage
12. Data will not lose even if the power is shut down
13. Current signal input resistance ≤0.01Ω
14. The targeted power factor can be adjusted: 0.70 lag~0.7 forward

All simultaneous compensation | Powers of three phases are basically balanced | Based on the total reactive power of three phases |
Simultaneous compensation: 9 circuits Respective compensation: 1 circuit | No big difference between the powers of three phases | Switch on the simultaneously compensated capacitor according to the single phase with lowest reactive power; if not enough or unbalanced, switch on the respective compensated capacitor(s) |
Simultaneous compensation: 6 circuits Respective compensation: 2 circuits
Simultaneous compensation:3 circuits Respective compensation: 3 circuits
All respective compensation, each phase has 4 circuits | Powers of three phases are severely unbalanced. | According to the total reactive power of single phase |
