The316 stainless steel is commonly-used,ranking only second to the 304 type. It has better corrosion resistance due to the Mo element. It is usuallyused to make the corrosion-resistant parts that contact the seawater or corrosivechemical mediums, such as valve part, chemical equipment, outdoor lamp,medical apparatus part, marine hardware, thermal exchanger part, pipe, etc. The316 is a mark which can be replaced by the CF-8M of the US, SCS14/14A of the Japan, or 1.4408 of the German.
